Histology is charged separately from the removal or biopsy procedure when clinically indicated. Skin biopsy fees below are the total laboratory fee for the stated number of specimens. Further staining or specialist examination may incur additional cost, which will be explained before proceeding.

If a removed lesion is sent for laboratory analysis, this is charged according to the tissue type and number of specimens, as listed in the histology prices above.

How your price is agreed.
The final quoted price depends on the assessment at your consultation. Booking a consultation does not commit you to a procedure.
The doctor assesses your condition and makes a diagnosis at the consultation, then confirms the final price verbally and agrees the treatment and cost with you before proceeding. If you proceed with treatment, the consultation is included in the agreed treatment fee.

The treatment and its cost are agreed with you at the consultation before treatment proceeds. You can ask questions or decide not to proceed.
We do not routinely issue an individual written quotation or a copy of the agreed costs. Any change to the proposed treatment or cost will be discussed and agreed with you before the additional treatment goes ahead.
If you intend to claim from an insurer, check your cover before booking; do not assume the clinic can bill your insurer directly.
